Ripon College

Following morning engineering classes, students go to the Ripon College campus for ecology research, leadership opportunities, language learning, and evening recreational activities. During the week, students spend the night in residence halls on the Ripon College campus.

Ripon College was founded in 1851 and is located in the historic city of Ripon, Wisconsin — a friendly, safe community of 7,733 people, 180 miles northwest of Chicago. The Ripon campus spans 250 tree-lined acres and includes 26 buildings. Take a video tour of the Ripon College campus here.

A sustainable campus, Ripon College is home to the Ceresco Prairie Conservancy consisting of 130 acres of native prairie, oak, savanna and wetland habitat in the making. Students and community members love exploring the prairie’s walking and biking trails in the summer!

Ripon’s historic downtown is within walking distance of the Ripon College campus. It is home to many different shops, cafes, restaurants, and a movie theater. You will have the opportunity Ripon during your free time at the camp and with your host families on the weekends.
